Randy Gibbons is owner of Ranco Sandblasting and
Trucking in Sulphur, Louisiana and is no stranger to rodeos.
As a bull rider he was approached on night at a rodeo by a 12- year boy who said, "Mr., is that your bull?" Randy replied, yes then he asked. "Are you going to cover him?" "I hope so." replied Randy. The boy then asked. "Do you want to pray?" Of course, his answer was yes.
"After that prayer, I had the best ride ever." Randy went on to say that that night was not like any other night. "Most all the time, well, every time I would go to a rodeo to ride, I would drink a lot. It would give me courage to mount a bull, I guess. But , this night was different. I was completely sober. All my friends would offer me a drink, but for some reason I said no, not tonight' I did not know why until that 12 year-old-boy asked me to pray." That night something happen to get Randy thinking about getting his life right with God, and he did. He is a blessing to rodeo ministry, and travels helping others to find this relationship with a friend who gives life....Jesus.
